we cut the ribbon at Lumen Flats! A first-of-its-kind housing solution for young adults aging out of foster care.

As a leader in affordable housing, we believe it is our duty to use our knowledge and resources to serve our most vulnerable communities, which is why we are so honored to have officially opened Lumen Flats in Knoxville, TN!

Lumen will offer stable housing for foster youth through 18 studio apartments, each with their own private bathroom and kitchenette. The community also features common living areas, a shared kitchen, and outdoor spaces for community growth and connection.

On-site, residents will also have access to mental health support, therapy rooms, and supportive adult relationships.
